Buenos Aires Retail Report, 2023

The retail real estate market in Buenos Aires showed signs of improvement as of late, after a difficult period during which it was the segment most directly impacted by the consequences of the economic crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. Indeed, most commercial corridors of the city saw significant occupation of space.

This improvement is clearly reflected in the average vacancy rate of all the retail corridors surveyed in this report: as of the end of 2022 it amounted to 2.6%, significantly below the year-end 2019 average (6.3%).
